Live polls and word clouds. Hear from your audience.
Ask a question. Rank the priorities. Check understanding. Polls, ratings, quizzes, short surveys and word clouds give your audience more ways to take part, all beside the stream.
Use a quick poll to guide a discussion or a word cloud to collect short ideas. Viewers take part on the event page, while the producer controls what opens and what appears on screen.
01
Prepare ahead or respond to the moment
Set up activities before the event and schedule opening and closing times. Add an image where it helps explain the prompt. Your producer can also create and launch an activity during the session when the conversation takes a new direction.
02
Choose the right way to answer
Use single-choice polls for a quick decision, a one-to-five rating for feedback or rankings to order priorities. Collect short written answers, run a timed quiz question or ask several questions in a short survey. Choose only the formats your event needs.
03
Choose when answers become visible
Collect poll responses before revealing results to avoid leading the audience. Clean word cloud answers are included automatically; possible profanity is held for review. Producers can hide unsuitable words, control result visibility and choose what appears on the presentation display.
04
Bring the result into the show
A dedicated presentation link shows the selected result or word cloud without producer controls. Plan how the graphics computer captures that display and how the host will respond to the audience’s answers.
A GOOD PLACE TO START
What to include in your brief.
Questions, answer formats and any supporting images
Yes. A producer can create and open an activity during the session, as well as prepare scheduled activities beforehand.
Can viewers participate from a phone?+
Yes. The event QR code takes them to the participation view so they can contribute while watching a room screen.
Do word clouds need a moderator to approve every word?+
No. Clean contributions are included automatically. The profanity screen holds flagged words for review, and producers can hide unsuitable contributions. Automated screening supports the team; it cannot catch every expression or language.
Are these polls suitable for formal AGM voting?+
These are audience participation polls. Binding resolutions, eligibility checks, proxies and formal vote counting require a separately scoped voting provider.
