Get in to vote
Three ways in: your voting link, signing in with your email, or a code at the venue.
This page is for members voting at a formal meeting, such as an AGM (annual general meeting), and for people holding another member's vote (a proxy).
Only people on the organisation's register of members can vote. The register is the list of members who can vote. Registering to watch, or joining with your name, doesn't give you a vote.
There are three ways in.
1. Your voting link
The meeting's secretary may email you “Your voting link: [meeting name]”.
- Open the link in the email.
- Choose Continue. It signs you in and takes you to the voting panel.
- It works once and lasts 14 days.
- If the secretary sends new links, older ones stop working.
- If it has already been used or has expired, you see “This voting link can't be used”. Choose Sign in with a code instead.
2. Sign in with your email
- Go to the meeting page.
- Choose Sign in to vote.
- Sign in with an email code, using the email address that's on the member register. See Sign in with an email code.
3. At the venue
If you're at the meeting in person, the check-in desk can give you a QR code to scan with your phone. It opens your vote on your phone.
- Each code works once and lasts 12 hours.
- It only works while you're checked in.
