Publish a replay
Turn a recording of your live stream into the replay on your event page. Do it within three days.
After the show, you can put a recording on your event page so people can watch it again. This page is for producers of events that stream through Castr, a live video service.
Steps
- On the producer page, after you choose Finish event, the Live channel box shows Recordings from Castr.
- Each recording shows which stream it came from (Main or Backup), when it started and how long it is. Pick the one you want.
- Choose Publish as replay. This saves the recording permanently and puts it on the event page.
- Wait a few minutes. The box says "Saving the replay in Castr" until it's ready. Viewers then see the replay by themselves.
Swap to another recording
The replay that's showing is marked this is the replay. To use a different one, choose Use as replay on that recording.
If there are no recordings
- Recordings appear a minute or two after the stream stops.
- If none appear, ask your JPC producer to check that recording was switched on for the stream in Castr.
