Understand the limits that keep things fair
How much you can send, how rude words are handled, and limits on recordings.
A few limits stop any one person from flooding the event, and keep the Q&A and activities fair for everyone. This page explains what they are and the messages you might see.
How much you can send
You can send up to 20 questions, answers or reactions a minute. If you go over, you see “Please wait a minute before sending more contributions.” Wait a minute, then try again.
Rude words
- If the organiser shows questions straight away, rude words are still caught and held for the producer to check.
- In a word cloud, possible rude words are held for the producer to check.
- Open text answers are always checked before anyone else can see them.
Recordings
- Up to 60 seconds per recording.
- Uploaded files must be under 25 MB, as MP4, WebM, MOV, MP3 or Ogg.
- Up to 20 recordings per event.
- The producer always checks recordings first.
See Record an audio or video question.

Good to know
- Polls close when the presenter says so. If you're a little behind on the stream, you get about 10 extra seconds.
